- Wide 3-3/4 In. base opening — allows use of larger bits
- Motor housing does not rotate during depth adjustment, — eliminating potential cause of horizontal movement of bit
- Tool-free base change — quick clamp system allows motor to be moved with ease
- Two additional protective devices prevent motor from falling to floor after quick-clamp is released

The RA1165 under-table base is based on the durable Bosch fixed base but enhanced with an above-table bit height adjustment mechanism. The RA1165 under-table base can be mounted to virtually any table surface and common router table plates. It includes hardware for mounting to router table and an T-wrench for adjusting the depth from above the table.
