Limited Warranty of Bosch 18V Portable Power Tools, 18V Benchtop Power Tools, 18V Chargers and 18V Batteries

Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (“Bosch”, “we” or “our”) warrants to the original end-user purchaser only that each BOSCH®-branded 18V portable power tool, 18V benchtop power tool, 18V charger and 18V battery (each, a “Product”) will be free from defects in material or workmanship for the period of time listed in the chart below for the “Product Category” applicable for such Product (as applicable, the “Warranty Period”):

OUR SOLE OBLIGATION AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY under this Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, under any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship and which have not been abused, misused, or carelessly handled.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED: (1) Damage caused by use of non-genuine Bosch parts is not covered by this Limited Warranty. (2) Damage caused by repairs done by any person other than Bosch or a Bosch Authorized Service Center is not covered by this Limited Warranty. (3) Normal wear and tear of your Product is not covered by this Limited Warranty. As a result, Product parts that may become worn or exhausted over time due to normal wear and tear (including, without limitation, air filters, blade clamps, brushes, bumpers, bumper cover washers, chucks, cords, driver belts, driver blades, isolators, lifters, o-rings, pistons, piston/driver assemblies, piston stops, saw shoes, seals, strikers, etc.), or any other service or repairs required due to normal wear and tear on a Product, are not covered by this Limited Warranty.

To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must return the complete Product, transportation prepaid, to any Bosch Factory Service Center or Bosch Authorized Service Center. Please include a dated proof of purchase with your Product so we can determine if your Product is within the Warranty Period. If you do not have the dated proof of purchase for the Product that is the subject of your claim, we will use the Product’s production code to determine whether the Product is within the Warranty Period. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO BOSCH®-BRANDED:

(i)12V MAX PORTABLE POWER TOOLS, 12V MAX BATTERIES, 12V MAX CHARGERS, CORDED PORTABLE POWER TOOLS, CORDED BENCHTOP POWER TOOLS, LASERS OR MEASURING TOOLS

(ii) ACCESSORY ITEMS SUCH AS CIRCULAR SAW BLADES, DRILL BITS, ROUTER BITS, JIGSAW BLADES, SANDING BELTS, GRINDING WHEELS AND OTHER SIMILAR TYPES OF ITEMS; OR

(iii) CARRYING CASES OR CARRYING BAGS.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR A PRODUCT SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE SHORTER OF (i) THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD FOR SUCH PRODUCT/PRODUCT CATEGORY LISTED ABOVE, OR (ii) SUCH DURATION AS WOULD OTHERWISE APPLY UNDER APPLICABLE LAW IF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WERE NOT OFFERED BY BOSCH. Limited Warranty of Bosch 12V Max Portable Power Tools, 12V Max Batteries, and 12V Max Chargers (12V Max measuring and detection tools excluded, see Measuring & Laser Warranty)

Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (“Seller”) warrants to the original purchaser only, that all BOSCH 12V Max portable power tools (excluding 12V Max measuring and detection tools), 12V Max batteries and 12V Max chargers will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. SELLER’S SOLE OBLIGATION AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY under this Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship and which have not been misused, carelessly handled, or mis repaired by persons other than Seller or Authorized Service Station. Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (“Seller”) warrants to the original purchaser only, that all BOSCH corded portable power tools and corded benchtop power tools will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. LIMITED WARRANTY OF BOSCH LASER AND MEASURING TOOL PRODUCTS

Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (“Seller”) warrants to the original purchaser only, that all Bosch lasers and measuring tools will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. Bosch will extend warranty coverage to two (2) years when you register your product within eight (8) weeks after date of purchase. Product registration card must be complete and mailed to Bosch (postmarked within eight weeks after date of purchase), or you may register on-line at www.boschtools.com/Service/Product-Registration. If you choose not to register your product, a one (1) year limited warranty will apply to your product.

30 Day Money Back Refund or Replacement -

If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of your laser and measuring tools, for any reason, you can return it to your Bosch dealer within 30 days of the date of purchase for a full refund or replacement. To obtain this 30-Day Refund or Replacement, your return must be accompanied by the original receipt for purchase of the laser or optical instrument product. A maximum of 2 returns per customer will be permitted.

SELLER’S SOLE OBLIGATION AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY under this Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of parts, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship and which have not been misused, carelessly handled, or mis repaired by persons other than Seller or Authorized Service Center. To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must return the complete Bosch laser or measuring tool, transportation prepaid, to any BOSCH Factory Service Center or Authorized Service Center. THIS WARRANTY PROGRAM DOES NOT APPLY TO TRIPODS AND RODS. Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (“Seller”) warrants tripods and leveling rods for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO OTHER ACCESSORY ITEMS AND RELATED ITEMS. THESE ITEMS RECEIVE A 90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY.

Limited Lifetime Warranty of Bosch Hand Tools

Robert Bosch Tool Corporation (“Bosch”, “we” or “our”) warrants to the original end-user purchaser only that each BOSCH®-branded hand tool manufactured for sale in the United States and Canada (each, a “Product”) will be free from defects in material or workmanship for the original end-user purchaser’s lifetime. These Products have a model number beginning with H followed by 8 characters (in the format H##-#####-#, e.g., “H11-13000-1,” “H11-12100-1,” etc.).

OUR SOLE OBLIGATION AND YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY under this Limited Warranty and, to the extent permitted by law, under any warranty or condition implied by law, shall be the repair or replacement of Products, without charge, which are defective in material or workmanship and which have not been abused, misused, or carelessly handled.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED: (1) Damage caused by use of non-genuine Bosch parts is not covered by this Limited Warranty. You will be asked to provide a dated proof of purchase for your Product so we can determine if you are the original end-user purchaser. We will provide you a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) for claim evaluation. You will need to send the complete Product, transportation costs prepaid, to the address we provide you.
