Three models, 4100DG-09, 4100-09 and 4100, with radical new features and enhancements, make the 4100-series the most precise, durable and high-performing table saws in their category. Innovative features include the industry’s first-ever Digital Rip Fence and modular Smart Guard System. Enhancements include a super-durable sub-base with handles, Bosch-exclusive SquareLock™ Rip Fence and more. When combined with the award-winning Bosch Gravity-Rise™ wheeled stand, the new 4100-Series 10-inch Portable Table Saws will continue to keep Bosch at the top of the category.
The premier model 4100DG-09, 10-inch Portable Jobsite Table Saw, incorporates all the new Bosch features and enhancements, including two industry-first innovations. The first, a Digital Rip Fence, incorporates a special high-visibility LCD gauge and display, which magnetically attaches to the robust and accurate Bosch SquareLock Rip Fence. Designed for maximum trueness, any measurement is accurate to 1/32-inch, while offering readouts in increments of 1/8, 1/16, and 1/32-inch and metric within 0.5-mm. The display is manufactured of die cast aluminum to withstand the worst jobsite abuse and climates. Now, carpenters, remodelers, cabinetmakers, and more can look forward to quicker initial set-up prior to cut, infinite repetitive cut capabilities, less material waste and the precision required to accomplish the highest quality work.
The second, the Bosch Smart Guard System, is a ground-breaking new design for portable table saws that includes a blade guard, riving knife and anti-kickback pawls. All three elements are modular and tool free, so users can quickly and easily remove or add each component independently based on the task. The blade guard is particularly user-friendly with a new split-guarding innovation that offers optimal line of sight and maximum protection, no matter the intended amount of material removal.

The riving knife, which prevents material from pinching the saw blade offers three positions: 1) full upright as a riving knife, 2) middle as a “splitter” for thicker pieces without the guard or anti-kickback pawls and 3) below the table surface for “non-thru” cuts. The anti-kickback pawls help control materials in a potential kickback scenario. The entire system is the easiest and most convenient table saw guarding solution on the market.
Like any professional tool, durability is essential to proving jobsite worthiness. The entire 4100-series table saws are jobsite proven with a super-durable sub-base complete with integrated carrying handles for quick and easy transport. Other improvements include a single-point bevel movement for consistent accuracy, t-slot miter system and enhanced dust collection.
Each of the 4100-series table saws also offer Constant Response Circuitry with Soft Start for smooth ramp up speed and to maintain speed under load. At 29 by 21-1/2-inches square, the table saw provides the most usable tabletop space available with a 25-inch rip capacity that can easily handle sheet goods or larger stock. The arbor lock system makes blade changes quick and easy. On-board storage for the SquareLock™ Rip Fence, miter gauge, blades and the Smart Guard System are also convenient solutions for moving between jobs.
Bosch also enhanced the award-winning Gravity-Rise Table Saw Stand. Practically effortless to operate, users simply turn the release lever and guide the weight and balance of the stand to smoothly raise or lower the saw into position for work or transport. The stand, which is compatible with most competitor saws, offers heavy-gauge steel and aluminum construction and is the only stand on the market with 8-inch treaded pneumatic wheels for perfect portability on and off any job site.
The Bosch 4100-series 10-inch Portable Jobsite Table Saw, will be offered in three versions to meet varying professional needs on the jobsite.
